This page is a guide to learning the piece Lucky 13 on a tapping Instrument such as the Chapman Stick or the acoustic Dragonfly DFA.

This minimal piece strikes me as a small interlude or intro type of piece. Changing the key or modulating it partway through might be useful in combination with another piece given that notion.

The piece has "rest bars" interleaved throughout. It is intended that these bars are to be open to improvisational ornamentation on the arpeggio's thoughout, or equally, left as rests to allow the arpeggios to "hang in the air".

The number of repetitions in each repeat stanza (usually two bars) is always 4 in the score, but you should feel free to alter the repeat counts as mood dictates, as well an mix and match the order of the segments. It's meant to be a skeleton that you can mold to your own musical meditations.
